The man who told her to abort the baby

Counselling people, one of the saddest realities I have come across is how often and casually some men tell a woman they have impregnated to abort. Some men even feel they are doing a favour by giving the money for abortion.

Some of these men tell the woman they slept with in an affair to abort.

Some tell the woman they fooled around with in a not defined relationship to abort.

Some tell the woman they have been in a relationship with to abort claiming they are not ready to be a father.

Some tell the woman they led on in a relationship to abort because he knew he was not serious about her.

Some even tell their wife to abort because they don't want another child.

Most of the time, the order from him to her to abort comes with arguments and threats. Some men threaten that if she keeps the baby, he will disown her, break up with her or not support the baby. Some men use emotional blackmail to get the woman to abort. All this, is just a man wanting to run away from responsibility and the consequences of his penis which he had no problem enjoying at the time of sex.

Gentlemen, before you order the woman to abort you need to think of what you are asking her to do. You are asking to rip apart a life that has already started to grow inside her and be a part of her, and exposing her to emotional trauma that for some lasts a lifetime, just because you are a coward. Just as you are casually ordering her to abort, you will casually move on after the abortion and live like nothing happened as you leave her with emotional scars, guilt and sleepless nights. Women suffer the most from the impact of an abortion, but for some men, it is nothing, they will even impregnate another woman and order her to also abort. Gentlemen, it is time for us to man up and be responsible with our penis.

Ladies, you too need to be wise. The truth of the matter is that a lot of men don't care about family planning or even leading a family and when you get pregnant, you can easily be blamed or even be accused of trapping a man with a baby even when you thought the man loved you. Most woman-man relationships change for the worse when pregnancy comes and you will see a different man from the one who used to call you every night, romance you, buy you gifts, take you out and send you love songs. You have to be careful about who you let inside your flower and into your womb. Sex is "fun" until you get pregnant for the wrong man. Make wise sexual choices.

If you do get pregnant for the wrong man, remember that many ladies after the pain of rejection by a man who impregnated them have raised honourable children. God can turn your fall into a blessing, He can give beauty for ashes, He can turn your confused state and align you to a straight path. Abortion is not a solution, don't let a heartless man make you a heartless mother.
