Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne on Tuesday named the provisional 30-man squad set to represent Kenya at the 2019 African Cup Of Nations.
Speaking to press this morning, Migne made it clear Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Victor Wanyama would captain the side.
Perhaps the most notable omissions are Jesse Were and David Cheche who play for Zambia’s Zesco United and AFC Leopards respectively.
The team will fly to Egypt five days to the start of the tournament – fresh off a three-week training in Paris, France.
