Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua aka Jaguar on Thursday warned his followers of a scam that is using his name to get money from Kenyans.
Through a Facebook post, the legislator notified the nation of the fake information that was being shared on social media.
â€œKenyans donâ€™t get duped. It would be so sad to lose your money to unscrupulous people,â€ he said.

This comes just a day after the DCI this week arrested a man who was conning unsuspecting members of the public in the name of Majority Leader Aden Duale.
Duale also took to social media to expose the former University of Nairobi student, and urged Kenyans to ignore messages that he is offering scholarships.?
â€œJames Ombui Oire runs a fake Facebook page that impersonates Hon Duale. He cons Kenyans by asking them to send Kshs. 2,000 registration fees using the phone number 0720886964 and 0722134712.
â€œPUBLIC NOTICE. Members of the public are advised to ignore messages circulating on social media indicating that the Office of the Majority Leader of the National Assembly of Kenya, Hon. Aden Duale, is offering 10,000 scholarships to students across the country...,â€ wrote the MP.
The legislator further posted a photo that had been uploaded by the suspect regarding the supposed 10,000 bursaries.
