Three suspected killers of Migori education director arrested

Homicide detectives investigating the brutal murder of Kuria West Director of Education Robert Nyagaka arrested three suspects and recovered items believed to have been used in the murder.

Detectives recovered a loaded AK-47 rifle, over 200 assorted ammunitions, Czeska magazine, handcuffs and jungle uniforms during an early Friday morning raid at Maeta village in Kuria East.

Some of the items were found wrapped in a polythene paper and hidden in a composite pit.

The three suspects, Robert Masiaga, Tabitha Boke and Joseph Gati were arrested in the swoop.

The suspects who are currently custody will be arraigned in court on Tuesday and to face charges.

Nyagaka was killed on April 2 by unknown assailants.
