Raila Junior opens up on how he struggled to get a child

Businessman Raila Junior this week opened up on how he struggled for almost five years to get his first child.

Speaking during an interview with a local radio station, Raila Junior narrated that it was a huge challenge in his marriage but they figured a way of handling societal pressure.

“We have been married for a long time…during the first four or five years we struggled to get a baby.

“Eventually we were blessed with a son and we are grateful,” he said, although he did not say the exact number of children he has at the moment.

Asked whether the period led to conflict in their marriage, Raila Junior maintained that the two of them stuck with each other despite pressure from friends.

“We were doing just fine but people kept asking us what the problem was. There was a lot of pressure from different quarters but I tried my best not to transfer it to my wife,” he said.

He further advised couples who are struggling to conceive to stick together and in case traditional methods fail, they can always seek advice from health experts.

Asked about his early childhood, he stated that he saw his dad, NASA leader Raila Odinga, when he was almost 10 years and it was somewhat awkward.

He admitted that the multiparty struggles championed by his dad had an effect on the family but they held together.

On the legalization of marijuana, Junior maintained that he still believes it should be legalized but for medicinal purposes.
