A deputy chief executive of a State agency is bitter with some of his juniors who apparently went behind his back and convinced the board to advertise the CEO’s position that fell vacant last month.
The man had prevailed upon the human resource and communication departments to delay the media advert by at least three months to allow him time to complete his master’s degree.
The man enrolled for an executive MBA after the board insisted that a post graduate degree was a requisite qualification for appointment.
Worse, the board has set end of October as deadline for application, which basically blocks the deputy chief’s chances of taking position.
