The Nairobi County Government has banned all ECDE graduation ceremonies in Nairobi public schools.
Through Education and sports County Executive (CEC) Janet Ouko, the county noted that schools planning ECDE graduation ceremonies were overcharging parents.
Ouko further noted that this was against the spirit of free ECDE especially if they force parents to dig deeper into their pockets.

Another con is buying uniforms that are ONLY available at the school and sold at exaggerated prices.
