I urge Uhuru to marry another woman to live in State House- MP

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been asked by the Mombasa Woman Representative Asha Hussein to marry another woman to live in the State House.

She urged President Uhuru to marry another woman so that he could lead by example for Kenyan men to embrace polygamy.

“I urge President Kenyatta to lead by example and marry another woman to live in State House. The woman should be introduced to Kenyans in the glare of cameras,” she said.

Ms Hussein made the remarks while speaking in Mvita on Monday 9 April, during a civic education forum. She added that polygamy is the best type of marriage and urged women to embrace it as well.

“Tunataka mpango wa kando wawe mabibi. Mr. Kenyatta said Christians are also allowed to marry more than one wife but are you ready? Women are you ready to allow polygamy?” she asked.

“Muslims are allowed to marry four wives, we want Christians to marry nine wives like Akuku Danger. There is too much promiscuity in Kenya and the dangers include sexual transmitted diseases,” she added.

Her remarks come days after Kiambu Women Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba advocated rich Kikuyu men to marry many wives to end the societal problems faced by young men.

The MP said that there’s nothing wrong with polygamous if it is going to give us solutions to the current problems women are facing. She advised Kikuyu men with the ability to marry many wives and bring up many children to do so.
