Why Odinga is the one to bring back Miguna Miguna

Lately, National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna accused opposition chief Raila Odinga of not facilitating his entry into Kenya after he was deported by the government back to Dubai on the night of last week's Wednesday. He accused Odinga of not standing in for him in his race to 'liberating' Kenyans.

It is, however, the responsibility of Raila Odinga to facilitate the homecoming of Miguna Miguna who is part of his opposition workforce which was initially staged to pull out President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto from power.

After meeting and shaking hands with President Uhuru at Harambee house early last month, Odinga announced that the move was meant to reconcile opposition supporters and the government supporters. However, for the case of Miguna Miguna, the reconciliatory handshake seems to lose meaning.

Odinga should express what he meant by reconciling the opposition and the government by dissolving the solid enmity between the government and Miguna Miguna (who is part of the opposition) either through talks or any means possible because he dismissed claims that his talk with Uhuru was inclusive and not selfish.

It only takes Odinga to break the tough line hindering the government and Miguna Miguna from becoming one just like he (Odinga) joined hands with the government. For this to happen, the government must accept Miguna Miguna as one of them the way they accepted Odinga. He is the one to liaise with government to let in Miguna.
