Jose Mourinho re-motivates his ‘afraid’ players in an emotional speech

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly made an emotional plea to his ‘afraid’ United players before the international break.

The Red Devils were sadly kicked out of the Champions League in midweek after suffering a shocking 2-1 (2-1 on aggregate) defeat to Sevilla.

Mourinho’s side responded by knocking out Brighton to book a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals, however, Mourinho was not impressed by his team performance in the match.

The Sun reports that, just days after his 12-minutes rant, the Portuguese manager was involved in another passionate speech again, but this time in front of his players.

Jose wanted his players to understand the responsibility and expectation of playing in the United shirt. He asked them to play with courage and confidence unlike against Brighton where they played with fear.

Mourinho also urged his players to also understand the importance of respecting the club and their manager too.

Mourinho will hope his speech will motivate as they will host Swansea at Old Trafford at the end of March, followed by a Manchester derby in a Premier League clash. United are also set to play Tottenham at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals.
