Popular nominated parliamentarian left with egg on face after thorough tongue-lashing

A famous nominated legislator representing a special interest group was last week left with an egg on his face.

This is after he was given a thorough tongue-lashing during a meeting by members he represents, for allegedly seeking to get milk political capital from a recent feat of one of their own.

His explanation that he was only accompanying the champion to press briefings and high offices in his capacity as a senior leader fell on deaf ears.
