Kenyans erupt on social media after Riara pupil accused of molesting a four-year-old girl

The story of the four-year-old child being molested by a 14-year-old boy from Riara Springs Primary School, Nairobi, has caused a stir on social media. The suspect has been reported with two other rape cases at Embakasi Police Station under OB number 65/28/10/7.

The police officers at the Embakasi station however said that they cannot take any action since they received orders from above to take the case slowly. This is because the boy’s mother, who is an administrator at Riara School, and his father, an ICT manager at the same school, are said to be well connected with the police.
