Whatsapp down- Kenyans join the world in speculating

Users of the WhatsApp all over the world are experiencing problems with the app across the, according to Independent website DownDetector, which tracks social comments around a certain topic to monitor outages across the globe.

The company reports that over a thousand of WhatsApp customers are reporting issues using the app.

The WhatsApp Messenger, a freeware and cross-platform instant messaging service for smartphones has had issues that have seen users raise concerns on the morning of Friday November 3.

People were unable to send messages to one another as the service continued to say ‘connecting’ with the wheel of death showing for most people.

Immediately after checking with their friends to see if WhatsApp was out of action people went straight to Twitter to confirm whether it was true or not.

Kenyans were not left behind with some even raising their concerns on Facebook groups.
