Mourners at a funeral including Jubilee
Member of Parliament, Maina Kamanda, were forced to abandon a coffin along the
road for fear of their lives after a swarm of bees attacked them during the
funeral of Mzee Joshua Njuguna on Tuesday October 31.
The incident left more than ten people injured including a woman and her child who were taken to the Karandi Health Centre for treatment. One of the mourners said that they had to leave the coffin along the roadside when the bees started attacking them.
