War of words escalates online after Dennis Oliech’s picture surfaces

After former Harambee Stars coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulei posted a picture on Instagram with once Kenya’s richest footballer Dennis Oliech, Kenyans on social media were up in arms, with most ridiculing the footballer’s appearance and concluding that he was ‘broke.’

Oliech has stated success in Europe, climbing the ladder from humble beginnings, becoming a top finisher in France during his heydeys.

The photo went viral and responses from Kenyans online created a ‘Twitter War’, some arguing that Oliech is not broke, some saying that his unkempt look is proof of his bankruptcy and some acknowledging what he has done for the country despite his shaggy look on the picture.

When Harambee Stars didn't have cash he chipped in. He's paved the way for many stars. Respect Dennis Oliech idlers, stick to politics.
