Strange! Revenging by throwing dead dog in borehole

Residents of Chulaimbo in Kisumu County were left in shock after a guy by the name Omondi confessed to have thrown a dead dog in a domestic borehole in an act of revenge.

Mr. Okot and Omondi quarrelled over what they termed as a neighbourhood grudge. To redeem his anger, Mr. Omondi came across a stray dog that was hit by a vehicle along Kisumu-Busia Highway, which he carried and dropped into Mr Okot’s borehole to poison his water.

Omondi's secret mission was unsuccessful as some children saw the action from a distance, but remained silent until the damage was done.

People who benefit from Okot's borehole started complaining about a funny smell emanating from the borehole. Things turned worse when smell became unbearable around the borehole.

Efforts to curb the smell bore no fruits, until when the children came out to confess what they saw.

"We saw Omondi throwing a dead dog in this borehole," said one of the children, with strong confirmation from his colleagues.

After being confronted and told to come remove the dead dog from inside the borehole, Omondi denied the allegations, terming them as false and malicious. This tussle went on until the village elder, Madam Brenda appeared. She immediately commanded the man to remove the carcass before the worst could happen.

"Mr Omondi remove this dog before I land on you!" said Brenda. When the elder asked why he did it, he happily admitted that he was revenging on Mr Okot. "Yes I did and I’m happy to revenge," said Omondi.

Although villagers suggested that he be punished and the borehole area fenced, Madam Brenda had another idea.

Mr. Okot stated all he need is Omondi to pull out that dog then he disciplines him in although he didn't disclose what type of discipline he will load him. "I will wait him to pull out the dog then I will discipline him nicely," said Okot."
