Support us to change your lives, Uhuru Kenyatta woos Bomet residents

Jubilee party's (JP) presidential flagbearer Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to upgrade the lives of Bomet residents as a move to consolidate support from the residents during the General Elections scheduled on August 8th.

He promised this when attending Jubilee's Bomet gubernatorial candidate Joyce Laboso manifesto launch on Thursday July 6, 2017.

President Kenyatta promised to revive the Bomet Tea Factory that has being 'dead' despite the fact that the residents have come up with Sacco's with an aim of boosting it to its revival.

"We will pump Ksh 500M to Bomet Tea factory to ensure that it revives back to its normal operations?. We understand that you have tried to come up with Sacco's to try your best to revive it without success," Kenyatta said.

He also announced that Bomet University will be gazetted as the plans to construct it are underway.

"Bomet University will be gazetted as the whole process is due and the construction will commence soon," Kenyatta added.

He also told the residents that his government will ensure that the IDPs in the region and the neighbouring counties will be paid their amounts of money in a short while.

"All the integrated IDPs will be paid their money next week (9th July to 15th July 2017) in an event where I will send Cs Kiunjuri of Devolution and Cs Keter," said Kenyatta.
