Diamond Platnumz hints on what he fears most

Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name 'Diamond Platnumz' has hinted on what he fears most in life.

Speaking at the University of Nairobi on Friday, Diamond said that it is true that as a human being, he fears tomorrow than anything else. He further said that it is true and a hard fact to accept that one day one time he will not be popular as he is now.

“Each and every right-thinking man must be afraid of the future because he doesn’t know what tomorrow will bring. If you are not afraid of tomorrow, you can’t save, you can’t respect people and you can’t do your very best in life. Given that I am afraid of my future and I am afraid to fail I am forced to save for tomorrow and help other people because you never know who will help you tomorrow,’” said Diamond.

According to Diamond, he doesn’t like clubbing because he has to ensure that each and every minute at his disposal works for him and the society positively. He also said that young people should strive to leave a good legacy.

When he was asked what motivates him to sing good music that is widely accepted, he revealed that he sings about day to day life and what is commonly affecting people locally. He also said that although he is satisfied with what he has, he is always aspiring to do better.

“I tell you for a fact that nobody is satisfied with his current position he or she always want to be like someone else, for example, look at your President (Uhuru Kenyatta) he is doing well financially but I am very sure deep done his heart he might be saying that “ I wish I was like Bill Gates.”

On how to be successful, he told students that the education they are acquiring in school will not count if they don’t become creative. According to him irrespective of the course you are studying, you must stand out so as to prosper.

Meanwhile, the Tanzanian singer said that it is not easy to achieve your dream because you must be ready to face challenges and the difference between those who have made it in life and those who have not is enduring challenges and rising above them.
