JUBILEE MP TO BAR SENATOR SONKO FROM VYING ON JUBILEE TICKET

Kiharu Member of Parliament Irungu Kang'ata has launched a bid to bar Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko from seeking any elective seat on a Jubilee party ticket.

The legislator is set to take on Sonko's political ambitions for the August 8th polls as he invites members of the press to his office on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, for a press conference where he will give details of his move.

"This is to alert the public of the bid to bar Mike Mbuvi Sonko from vying for any seat under Jubilee party," reads the media invite.

Senator Sonko is among Jubilee legislators eyeing Nairobi gubernatorial seat in this year's General Election.
