How to fit in at your new work place

So you just landed that job, and deep down you are exhilarated, you just can’t wait to start off and showcase your skills. You undergo induction for some period and like a plane on the run way you are ready to take off. During the induction period you meet lots of people, some whom you like, others whom you think are too serious for life and you just keep a safe distance.
