Maid quits job due to unrelenting cold weather

A maid in Bobaracho has quit her job for allegedly claiming that she could not stand cold weather. According to sources privy to this information, the maid who has been working for the past 2 years decided to quit. “I can’t tolerate cold weather every morning” said the maid.

It is alleged that her boss has been pressurizing her to wake up at 5.00 am before everyone wakes up to wash clothes and utensils. “You can’t imagine waking up at 5.00 am to wash clothes and utensils. I had persevered enough” she said.

It was Saturday last week when she requested to go and see her parents never to be seen again. The maid also made away with her boyfriend’s phone that has now launched manhunt to reclaim his phone back.

Her boss a primary teacher in Kisii town on Monday almost missed to go to school after her maid failed to turn up. She is now forced to go with her child to school.
