This police bribery claim is shocking

News
In Nairobi, Eldoret and kitale there are strong matatu Saccos which have good clean vehicles and disciplined  drivers and some do not have conductors on long journeys. They are identical in colour.Their vehicle's are up to standard, clean and when you board them, they don't stop on the way and neither are they stopped by policemen on the way. But these matatus which are individually owned are not up to standards unlike the ones owned by Saccos, promoting frequent stoppages.
To stem this bribery, let matatu owners who have only one matatu or two and they are in saccos, leave the Sacco’s to run the business for them on their behalf. A lot cannot be said because the matatu owners are in fear, but their matatus are always stopped on the road, stickers removed and even keys.
This forces the owners to look for those policemen. The solution is to have one voice; through the Sacco’s then matatu business will be lucrative. Some matatu owners spend like 4000 per week on those merry-go rounds which matatu owners contribute but get no return in the end.
This bribery reflects the kind of vehicles plying Kenyan roads. The truth has come out. Let traffic police employ born again policemen to man our roads. Money is the root of all evil. This commission which is vetting the policemen has unearthed a lot. Although the snake does not fly it has caught the bird whose home is the sky.
