We must do more to fix Africa's problems

Africa is endowed with unrivalled resources such as gold, copper, petroleum and diamond, among others. Its good soils could feed millions and its flora and fauna is world-famous.

However, the scourge of maladministration continues to ravage Africa. Decades after attaining independence, there is little to show for it development-wise, as power-hungry leaders continue to cling to power.
