Women turn love for cooking into business

For many years, Wapishi Women Group’s mouth-watering dishes have made them popular in western Kenya. In 2007, they were invited to several ODM rallies. After one such rally in Siaya, Agriculture Minister William Ruto sought them out after savouring their meal. "The minister was pleased with our services," says Hadija Imbwaka, 47. The group also says former Rarieda MP Raphael Tuju was one of their major clients.
