Security officers have destroyed bhang worth millions of shillings at a farm in Homa Bay County, Rachar Village in West Kanyamwa Location in Ndhiwa Sub-county. The raid was led by West Kanyamwa Location Chief Christopher Milewa, his assistants and police officers, after members of the public gave them a tip off. The officers uprooted the plants and packed it in a police land cruiser to Ndhiwa Police Station.
“We got information from the public and found the bhang upon arrival at the farm. It was healthy and they were flowering at more than five feet,” Milewa said, adding that the man disguised the illegal business with maize plants which surrounded the farm.
