Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti amused mourners saying he has kept the county gubernatorial ticket in his genitals. He used the word “key” to symbolise the ticket for the county gubernatorial post.
Awiti is serving his second and last term in office, according to the Constitution, and will pave way for another in 2022.
A number of politicians have expressed their interest in succeeding him and several have begun their campaigns in earnest, about 18 months to the General Elections.
