Snoop Dogg Coming To Africa

Grammy Nominated rapper Snoop Lion formerly known as Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the MTV All Stars Concert in May 2013. Joining him on the stage is none other than Kenya’s very own urban hip-hop group, Camp Mulla.

The fast rising Camp Mulla group has shared the stage with top celebrities over the past year and this show will provide yet another major platform for them. The much anticipated show will feature top continental artists with 2Face, Ice Prince and Davido having signed up for the event.

A number of shows have been set across Africa ahead of the main show and Kenya is no exception. A launch concert is to be held at the Tree House, Nairobi on Friday the 5th  featuring the biggest names in the local and continental music scene. On this launch Madtraxx, STL, P-Unit, Kanja, Big Nuz and Dj Tira will be bringing down the house before the tour moves on to Lagos, Nigeria.

The Lagos leg of the tour will be graced by performances from 2Face Idibia, Davido and Ice Prince.

The final show will be held in Durban, South Africa where Snoop will be headlining.

“I’m honoured to bring this important message of peace and love to South Africa. This is the motherland and a place of so much history and strife. I hope that this concert reminds us it is also a place of joy, love, celebration and peace,” said Snoop Lion.

MTV Africa All Stars will be broadcasted around the world on MTVBase and MTV’s global TV network. Tickets are already on sale in Nairobi.
