Love wins: Celebrity couples who will make you believe in love

They say love conquers all and it is blind to many circumstances. When race, cyber bullying, past relationships and age do not get in the way of a relationship, love carries the day. Here are celebrities whose love has stood the test of time and whose romance continues to flourish despite many challenges.

Only death will separate Bahati from Diana Marua

Fans delight at the unique unity and well-knit family of musician Kevin Mbuvi Kioko a.k.a Bahati and his older lover Diana Marua. Instagrammer Dianais celebrated for supporting her husband to co-parent with his ex -lover. 

Going by her photos and videos, Diana, 31, seems to have good chemistry with her step- daughter, Mueni. Bahati has also been on the receiving end of insults for marrying a woman older than him. Despite the backlash and cyber bullying their chemistry grows by the day. Earlier on, Bahati wrote Mtaachana tu, a special song for his lovely wife Diana Marua dubbed.  

In the song, Bahati declares that only death can separate them.

Kabi and Milly wa Jesus

When a man loves a woman, he flaunts her on billboards. There's no doubt  that the WaJesus family are in love…So deep in love that they proclaim it to the whole wide world (on a billboard).

The pair, made in heaven, are still standing strong despite Kabi’s incestous past. When a DNA test confirmed that Peter Kabi  sired a child with his cousin, their marriage became stronger as Milly Wambui alias Milly WaJesus of the Wajesus Family vowed to help her husband raise the child.

And to crown it all, the content creators who already share one child, can't keep calm as they are expecting their second, which they happily advertised on a billboard.

He’s my guardian Angel: Esther Musila and Musician Guardian Angel

Well, the duo lives up to the adage of age is just a number. They have proved without reasonable doubt that age is a non-matter in love and marriage. 

The two lovebirds tied the knot in a secret marriage despite Esther being twenty years older than her husband. Previously, Esther cited rejection from her friends because of the relationship. Meanwhile, Guardian Angel has also had his fair share of criticism from netizens who have labeled him a gold digger.

For better for worse: Musician Kambua and Jackson Mathu

For 12 years, the couple waited patiently for God to bless their union with a child. Despite this, Jackson  stood by Kambua's side without pulling out a scandal or complaint.

Despite suffering the loss of their second child shortly after birth, they remained unshaken. Meanwhile, the ten -year age difference has never stood in the way. 

 

Overcoming cheating scandal: Terrence Creative and Milly Chebby

Despite admitting to cheating on his wife, Lawrence Macharia, popularly known as Terrence Creative and Chebby still remain a strong item. Terrence admitted to cheating on his wife on his Instagram stories before confessing it to his wife.  

As a result the two were involved in a tiff that was settled with Terrence blaming the devil for the fallout. The celebrated  comedian however apologized for the wrong move and made amends with his wife. The two seem to have buried the hatchet going by the happy lifestyle they put out on social media.

 

Akothee and Nelly Oaks

The self-proclaimed president of single mothers is a firm believer of true love . As such Esther Akoth has not shied away from revealing her tight relationship with lover Nelly Oaks.  Despite having two failed marriages and five children, she bagged herself a new lover, Nelly Oaks. The 29-year-old Akothee's former manager has been on Akothee's side even when she was hospitalized. On social media, the singer revealed that she intends to have babies for Nelly Oaks.

Isaac Mwaura and Nelius Mukami

Isaac is the first Member of Parliament in Kenya living with albinism. He met his wife in 2012 through a mutual friend on Facebook. Few months into dating the two split, however they remained friends for one and a half years. Mukami was on Isaac's side when he was hospitalized. He proposed to her  in 2015. 

Their marriage was rocked by the loss of two children and huge multimillion hospital bills. The duo however continue to thrive in their marriage.
