Being asked to design and bake a cake for one of the most popular political personalities in Kenya isn’t something you’re likely to forget. It is an experience Eve Gaya, the CEO of Tunu Bakeries, says she won’t forget in a long time. The former pharmaceutical technologist said she received a call from ODM leader Raila Odinga’s birthday organizing committee that she had been selected to bake a cake for the former prime minister’s 77th birthday celebration last week.
“It came as a shocker. But I’m glad that we got the privilege and an opportunity to make the birthday cake,” she said.
