Nakuru was a beehive of activity yesterday. While crews were engaged in a rigorous reconnaissance, documentation and scrutineering went on at the Lanet’s Lesiolo grain handling silos.

KMSF Steward Achie Khan and clerk of the course Carl Tundo ensured all was well at scrutineering.

Outgoing division 1 leader Onkar Singh Rai was upbeat after recce. Having joined the senior-most KNRC Division 1- which is a composition of the top 10 drivers-

Onkar believes his new opponents in Division 1 are too fast but promised to drive well in the Rift Valley Motor & Sports Club organised event. "You have to remember the pace of the leading pack is phenomenal. Guys like Tundo, Chager, Alastair and Ian are really fast. But I will give them a run for their money. With regards to Division 1, I wouldn’t say it is comfortable," he said.
