Chelsea in for French goalkeeper

Chelsea have reportedly held talks with French goalkeeper Steve Mandanda over a move to Stamford Bridge.

Reports say that this means the club believe that they will be keeping hold of Thibaut Courtois this summer and that a move for the Marseille stopper - who will be a free agent when his contract expires later this month - will likely spell the end of Asmir Begovic at the west London side.

Begovic is looking to plat more first-team football, while Mandanda has previously expressed a desire to move to the Premier League, ith Everton also being linked with the 31-year-old.
