Memphis Depay has the Gunners in his sights after Man United win

The Dutch winger has struggled for form for much of the season, but found his rhythm in Thursday's Europa League match

Memphis Depay is gunning for Arsenal after Manchester United 's Europa League thriller.

The winger, who has endured a tough first season in England, stepped up to the plate for the Red Devils on Thursday, helping them to a 5-1 win over Midtjylland at Old Trafford.

That sealed a comeback win on aggregate, but attentions will now turn to the upcoming game against Arsenal, report the Manchester Evening News.

With United having already booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Louis van Gaal’s men can complete a significant week with a good result on Sunday as they look to make up ground on the top four.

Memphis spoke of how much the team enjoyed themselves against Midtjylland and is looking to take that same attitude into the Premier League game.

“Tonight was good,” he said. “We enjoyed ourselves on the pitch and you could see that.

“We’re very happy that we got through, we have to keep that spirit in the team and we look forward to Sunday.”
