Kalonzo sheds tears during NASA press conference

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka shed tears during a National Super Alliance (NASA) press conference on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

From the video, Kalonzo was seen wiping his eyes while Raila Odinga was talking about the attack at his home.

There were reports that a grenade-like object was hurled at his house at around 2.am on Wednesday 31 January.

The Karen OCPD Cunnigham Suiyanka, however, confirmed that no one was injured that day.

Kalonzo Musyoka while speaking, said that they are still united in NASA despite people asking him to retire from politics.

“We in NASA are united despite people saying I should retire from politics,” said Kalonzo Musyoka.

Also present at the press conference were NASA leaders Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi.

Raila Odinga said that the three principals explained their absence from the swearing-in ceremony that took place on January 30.

The Opposition leader also said that they shall remain united and give a comprehensive statement tomorrow (2 February)

"The war is not ‘intra-NASA’. We shall remain united. We shall give a comprehensive statement tomorrow," he said.
