Modern Coast Rangers were beaten in their own turf after they were handed a 2-0 beating by Nairobi Stima in a FKF national super league match at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Thursday.

Rangers got off well with overlapping mid-fielder George Owiti’s goal bound shot missing the target. Stima settled down and it was in the 26th minute when John Kang’ethe slammed home the opener before Vincent Odongo added the second three minutes into the second half.

Meanwhile, former Bandari striker Muhiddin Abbas Muhiddin scored four goals to steer Coast Stima in the 5-0 drubbing of Savannah Cement in a FKF Division One League match at the same venue.

Muhiddin who was set free by Bandari during the off season transfer period by Paul Nkata opened the floodgates in the 11th minute after tapping a cross from Mohammed Haji for a goal.
