BODY BUILDING: Kakamega brace for muscle showdown

Kakamega town will come alive on December 19 as the final round in the Kenya Body Building Federation compeition concludes with the Mr/Ms Kakamega contest.

Federation Chairman Chris Omedo said they are looking forward to another successful outing after the Mr/Ms Modern Fitness held in Mombasa where winner Michael Otieno walked away with Sh250,000.

Mr Kakamega will win Sh100,000 with the second and third pocketing Sh50,000 and Sh30,000. The top six overall and in each category will also get cash rewards.

 "Bikini, figure and aerobics categories have also been included where the winners will get cash awards," Omedo said. Pre-judging will be at the same venue.
