The two said Kulundu had spearheaded various reforms in NSSF and labour movement when he served as Labour minister.

"He is one of the men who never failed to make changes especially in the labour industry as long as they suited the workers," said Atwoli.

Atwoli said Kulundu had, among other things, transformed the Tom Mboya Labour College in Kisumu to be a vibrant institution that shapes trade unionists.

Mogere termed Kulundu as a worker who never failed to respond to issues even when he was unwell.
