John Makwata on Sunday scored a late goal to rescue a point for AFC Leopards as Ingwe played out to a 1-1 draw with Kenya Police in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF-PL) match at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.

Former AFC Leopards striker retuned to haunt his former employers after netting in the 35th minute to give Police a narrow 1-0 lead.

Rupia, who previously turned out for Leopards, joined Kenya Police during last month's transfer window period from Saudi Arabian side Bisha FC.

In the final half, John Mark Makwata rescued a point for Leopards when he also scored against his former club, netting from the spot on 82 minutes to rescue a crucial one point for Leopards.

Makwata rejoined Leopards last month from Police.

The draw leaves Leopards joint 10th with Police on 28 points, but the law enforcers have a superior goal difference.
