Gor Mahia to face former striker Tuyisenge in CAF Champions League – K’Ogalo draw Rwanda champions APR

Perennial Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC have been drawn against, Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club (APR FC), the champions of Rwanda in the preliminary round of the 2020/2021 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

This is after a draw held in Cairo, Egypt on Monday, November 9, which drew K’Ogalo against APR’s new signing, Jacques Tuyisenge, formerly donning the colours of the Kenyan champions. Here, he won three trophies in three seasons. 

Gor Mahia, who recently hired Brazilian tactician Roberto Oliveira as their new head coach, will play AFC away in Kigali on Saturday, November 28.

The first legs of the first preliminary round are set to be played between November 27 and 29 with the return legs to be staged between December 4 to 6.

The second preliminary round’s first phase begins on December 22 to 23, with the return legs to be played between January 5-6.
