West Ham have emerged a shock contender’s in the race to land £70million-rated Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegalese international has been a long-time target for both Spurs and Chelsea while Manchester United also looked before they signed Harry Maguire.
Koulibaly, 28, who helped his country to the final of the African Cup of Nations is seen as one of the best central defenders in European football.
He is rated at around £70 million by Napoli is keen to move to the Premier League where Manchester City who want to strengthen their defence are also interested.
