Good start at Spurs for Wanyama

FOOTBALL By Game Yetu | July 10th 2016
Victor Wanyama arrived in an £11m deal from Southampton last month

Victor Wanyama made his Tottenham debut in a pre-season victory over Nottingham Forest.

The Kenyan midfielder completed his switch to White Hart Lane last month, arriving from Southampton in an £11m deal.

He started in midfield alongside Ryan Mason as Spurs ran out 3-0 winners in the behind-closed-doors encounter at Hotspur Way.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino fielded a mixture of first team and youth players against the Championship side as Heung-Min Son, Tom Carroll and Alex Pritchard found the net.
