Bamba TV has secured exclusive rights to air national boxing league matches. In what is expected to promote and market boxers in the amateur circles, the development is a strategic move before pugilists join the paid ranks.

The deal follows extensive consultations between Bamba TV managers and the Boxing Association of Kenya (BAK).

The fourth leg of the league in Nakuru will be the first tournament to be aired live from October 5-7 ahead of the final shoot in Mombasa on November 2-4.

The federation plans to sign a three-year contract with the TV station early next year.
