Defending Nyanza Region Secondary School basketball champions Onjiko High School set the tournament ablaze by scoring a staggering 100 points against Rapogi Boys from Migori in their opening match.

The game, which took place at Kisumu Boys on Wednesday, ended in a commanding 100-41 victory for Onjiko, laying down a marker for the competition and solidifying their status as the team to beat.
