Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar will miss Brazil's home 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Venezuela next Friday because of a thigh injury, Selecao doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said on Friday.
But the 28-year-old will travel with Brazil's squad in the hope that he will be fit for the qualifier against Uruguay in Montevideo four days later.
