Floyd Mayweather has claimed he has suggested fighting Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov on the same day.

Mayweather is working with UFC chief Dana White on a comeback in 2020 with a rematch with McGregor and another crossover fight with his rival, Khabib, both mentioned as possible bouts.

Both would be money-spinning opportunities for Mayweather as he eyes a return to the ring - and he clearly believes they would both represent easy challenges, as well.

In an interview with Drink Champs, he claimed he has talked to White about the prospect of fighting both UFC superstars in the same day - Khabib followed by McGregor.

Mayweather said: "I even talked about fighting Khabib and Conor in the same day.

"Khabib in the day and Conor at night. You pay one fee, probably $250, and you get both fights."

Mayweather comfortably beat McGregor in the boxing ring back in 2017, stopping him in the 10th round after barely getting out of first gear.

He has now revealed how little he trained for the bout.

“For the Conor McGregor (super-fight), I didn’t really train,” Mayweather said.

“All I did was do pushups and situps. That’s all I did. Pushups and situps, box a few times, hit the bag a few times. Because, actually, the training camp was in different places.

“I would do a training camp in Vegas for a few days. Sometimes I wouldn’t go to the gym for a week.

“I took it seriously. Like I said before, I wanted to have some fun in the fight. I wanted to entertain people.”

Khabib's father, Abdulmanap, says he could fight Mayweather, although he must first defend his UFC lightweight title against Tony Ferguson in April.

Abdulmanap told TACC: "Mayweather has statistics on fights of 50 wins and zero losses, he is the greatest in boxing.

“He wants to fight with the same champion who did not lose a single fight, Khabib, everything is fine, but now we have Tony Ferguson on the line.

“We said a long time ago: let us finish with Tony, after that we will work with the team of Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko for six months, then there will be a boxing fight.

"We offer any day anywhere, with only one condition - 11 rounds in boxing and one in mixed martial arts.

“We will stand 11 rounds against the best boxer, so why not go one round according to the rules of MMA with us? But all things will happen after Tony."

Khabib will reportedly seek training from Vailiy Lomachenko's father and trainer Anatoly as well as heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, if the proposed bout goes ahead.
