For three good years: K’Ogalo get new kit samples from Umbro

Six days ago, perennial Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia announced they had agreed a new long-term partnership with Global kit manufacturers Umbro.

 “We are delighted that Gor Mahia will be wearing the famous double diamond. They are a club with history and tradition looking to build towards the future, which goes hand in hand with our brand values. We look forward to partnering with Gor Mahia as they take on the next chapter,” said Ricketts.

 “As truly indicated by David, Gor Mahia is about to open a new chapter in the quest to begin dining with elite clubs of African football at the continental table. We are glad and excited that Umbro has agreed to partner with the club towards opening this new chapter. We guarantee to you, Umbro that we will never let you down, we are the mighty K’Ogalo. We share the same values, let us grow the brands together,” said Rachier.

The deal will see Umbro provide high-quality apparel and equipment to the club.

On Tuesday, January 22, officials from Umbro visited K’Ogalo at their training base in Camp Toyoyo, Nairobi to showcase samples of the kits the will provide the club.

Umbro SA Chairman Brian Katzen, accompanied by CEO David Ricketts expressed delight, saying the partnership will inspire the team get to greater heights as well as inspire footballers in Africa.

“I am proud we have started this journey with Gor Mahia and we hope this will turn out to be a long term partnership. It is a pure technical partnership which will be beneficial to both parties and we are happy to be associated with this big club in Kenya,” Katzen said.
