Two-time national Sevens circuit champions Homeboyz are among 12 teams set to grace the 22nd edition of the Safari Sevens tournament from November 9-11 at the RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
The Deejays, who won this year’s local Sevens circuit with 122 points over six legs, are joined by Safari Sevens holders Shujaa and Morans to complete a three-team Kenyan line up.
HSBC World Sevens Series participants Spain and their neighbours Portugal have also confirmed participation while British trio of Apache Sevens, Red Wailers and 2015 champions Samurai Sevens will all feature.
Cobras from South Africa, Uganda, Namibia and Burkina Faso are the other participants in the three-day tournament.
It will see the return of the championships to the RFUEA Grounds for the first time since 2010. [Clement Wekulo]
