“I invite everybody to come (Saturday, September 29,) to watch Kenyan Strongest Man and we’ll have a lot of fun” said a panting Savickas.

“This will be a great entertainment. This championship is a great opportunity to grow talented Kenyan warriors. I am glad that I can be that part. It was not difficult to pull a car fire. I am busy and heavier buses or airplanes, “he added.

Three years later, he took part in that same strongman contest, and defeated a number of older and more experienced competitors. At age 17, Savickas began to train in powerlifting.
