Jose Mourinho is expected to wield the axe when Manchester United host Tottenham on tonight.

The Red Devils boss could ring the changes after his side were defeated by relegation tipped Brighton last weekend.

Most at risk are defenders Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof, both of whom endured a miserable afternoon as their team went down 3-2. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are in line for recalls.

Luke Shaw, often been criticised by Mourinho, could make way for fit again Antonio Valencia.

Nemanja Matic could also return after missing the opening two fixtures, with Andreas Pereira expected to be the man to drop out of the starting line-up if the Serbian is selected.

Up front, Romelu Lukaku is expected to lead the line, with Juan Mata on one side and Alexis Sanchez, who missed the Brighton defeat, on the other.

Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has a decision to make over goalkeeper Hugo Lloris at Manchester United on Monday.

The World Cup winner was charged with drink-driving on Friday and will appear in court in September.

Son Heung-min is still away on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Games, but Victor Wanyama (knee) has returned to first-team training.

Manchester United predicted XI : De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Young, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Lukaku, Sanchez.

Tottenham predicted XI : Lloris, Trippier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Eriksen, Alli, Moura, Kane.
