Technical colleges face off in Kisumu

The 25th Kenya Technical Institutions Sports Association (Ketisa) kicked off at Kisumu Polytechnic yesterday.

In women football, Kisumu Polytechnic kicks off their title chase in Pool D with Nairobi’s National Industrial Training Authority (Nita) in the first match before National Youth Service Institute of Business Studies (NYS IBS) battle Kenya Institute of Building and Housing Technology (KIBHT) and East Africa School of Aviation (EASA) in the four-day contest.

Eldoret Polytechnic begin their title bid against Kenya Forestry College (KFC) in Pool A at Moi Stadium as Kisii Polytechnic face off with Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC) and Kenya Coast in Pool A.

At Kisumu Day grounds, Sigalagala takes on Kenya Water Institute (Kewi) in Pool B while Kitale Polytechnic slugs it out with Institute of Energy Studies and Research (IESR) and Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).

In pool C, NYS Engineering Institute will confront Railway Training Institute (RTI) as Meru Polytechnic faces Nita Athi River, Kenya Institute of Surveying and Mapping and Kabete Polytechnic.

At Mamboleo showground, Sigalagala start rugby title campaign against KTTC in pool A alongside KIHBT and KFC in pool B. KIMC will meet Nita Athi River as Kisumu Polytechnic square it out with Kewi.
