Spanish Premier League Champions Real Madrid will be lining up a bid for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus should they fail to clinch the signature of Tottenham ace Harry Kane, Spanish media have revealed.

Real Madrid have suffered a string of awful results including the barren draw away against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday evening. As a result, Los Blancos are staring at a possibility of bidding good bye to chances of retaining La Liga title. Right now, they sit at fourth position 8 points behind league leaders Barcelona.

These are the main reasons why the manager Zinedine Zidane is planning a clear out which is said to be targeting the exits of star players like Christiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema. The club is therefore said to be planning to Gabriel Jesus, who has so far staged a stunning performance for Pep Guardiola racking up 10 goals since arriving in Manchester City from Palmeiras in 27M pound fee.

Reports indicate that Real Madrid will have to pay close to 100M pounds should the bid be successful. Besides that, the club is said to be using Brazilian left-back Marcelo to convince his compatriot to come to Santiago Bernabeau. The inclusion of Ronaldo Delima in the Real Madrid boss is said to be possible genesis of pressure to sign the Jesus.

Spanish giants have been linked with various players mostly from English Premier League in a plan viewed as a rebuilding process. Some of the names that have been linked to the European Champions include Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Delle Ali, Man United’s David De Gea and PSG’s Neymar Jr.
